Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos really stink this year and they are just not getting any breaks. As snakebitten as the Chargers are, the Broncos appear to have captured some of that voodoo magic. The biggest story for the Broncos coming out of their loss to the Raiders was the season-ending injury to star running back Javonte Williams.

Not only that but the Broncos also were forced to place Randy Gregory, one of their big offseason signings, on injured reserve.

The Broncos are now faced with a sidelined pass rush and a running game that features Melvin Gordon and his fumbling problem. In response, they signed Latavius Murray off the Saints’ practice squad. This is unlikely to fix the problem for the Broncos and they look like they are going to struggle through this year. Russell Wilson has been pretty bad and they are stuck with him for quite some time. LOL.

Next week, the Broncos host the Indianapolis Colts in hopes that they can beat a weird team. The catch is that they have a short week. The Broncos and Colts play on Thursday Night Football. The Colts are questioning whether Jonathan Taylor will be ready to go following an ankle injury and if he can’t go, the Broncos have a fighting chance. If he plays, I don’t think the Broncos pull this out.
