Tampa Bay Buccaneers

It’s the matchup that everyone has predicted since the beginning of the season: a rematch of Mahomes and the Chiefs versus Tom Brady and the Bucs in the Super Bowl. The first time around, the Buccaneers completely annihilated Kansas City. There was no silver lining; there was no moral victory. The Chiefs were owned. Since then, revenge has been in the heart of every Chiefs fan.

After the hype surrounded Kansas City last season, the Buccaneers pressured Mahomes so much that Brett Veach decided to completely overhaul the offensive line. Although the rosters for both teams have changed somewhat, the Brady-Gronk-Evans combo would still go head to head with the Mahomes-Hill-Kelce combo. It would make for exciting football to see this matchup once again.

Beating Tom Brady is always an exhilarating experience, but getting him in the Super Bowl is even better. Of course, the only scenario for this revenge is if Tampa got to the Super Bowl and the Chiefs did as well. That being said, it is the best possible revenge story in the NFL Playoffs this season. Tampa Bay has a difficult road to the Super Bowl, but it is not out of the question.
