KC Chiefs connected with cornerbacks in latest round of mock drafts

Former NFL GM Charley Casserly posts mock drafts and draft anecdotes at the NFL’s official site, and his latest mock has another cornerback to consider in Ohio State’s Damon Arnette. Casserly writes, “The defending champs could go OL, DE or WR (especially if they part ways with Sammy Watkins), but CB is a definite need.”
Arnette would be a nice addition for the Chiefs defensive backfield and this might be the most likely of any of these scenarios due to Arnette’s ability to play immediately with a well-known physical game that makes him perfectly suited to pressing receivers at the NFL level. He’ll always need help deep, but no one can accuse him of not making it tough for receivers to do what they want on each and every catch. A tough pass defender.
