Kenny Vaccaro, S

Kenny Vaccaro has had a very up-and-down career due to the multiple injuries throughout his first contract. He has only finished one full season since he entered the NFL, the 2015 season in which he recorded 104 tackles, three sacks, one forced fumble, and five passes defended. Since the 2015 season, Vaccaro has missed games for both injuries and PED issues.

This past season Vaccaro ended up on injured reserve after 12 games. He had played a part of the season with a torn adductor muscle which had completely separated from the bone. Even being injured he still managed to accumulate 60 tackles, seven passes defended, three interceptions, and 1.5 sacks. Outside of his 2014 and 2017 seasons where he was injured, Vaccaro has finished with an 80 or above rating per PFF.

Even with his high level of play, the New Orleans Saints have plenty of young and cheap talent at the safety position. They did not need to re-sign Vaccaro, while the Chiefs, on the other hand, have plenty of need at the safety position. With the reported release of Ron Parker and the exposure of Daniel Sorensen this past season, the Chiefs should think about signing Vaccaro. He plays his best in the box and has shown that he is an excellent tackler, which would be useful with how often Bob Sutton loves to play with safety as a linebacker.
