DENVER, CO – DECEMBER 31: Quarterback Paxton Lynch /

Denver Broncos

Just kidding.

I am really relieved they aren’t in this one anymore. Case Keenum is not a bad quarterback by any means, however Cousins likely would have brought the Broncos back into contention. I would much rather go against Keenum twice a year than Kirk Cousins.

Cousins to the Vikings is mutually beneficial. Minnesota needs an above average QB (not to knock on Keenum, he put up fantastic numbers last year). Kirk Cousins needs Minnesota, and they need him. If this marriage happens we could see another playoff run for the Vikes, and possibly a Super Bowl run…

I know Vikings fans love to hear that.

I’m just grateful the Denver Broncos are going another year without a Manning at the helm.
