Biggest Surprise: Tyreek Hill

The biggest surprise of the year so far is the positional development of Tyreek Hill. A running back in college and a returner/ ‘gadget’ player as a rookie, Hill’s continuing development of the finer points of the position have gone a long way in the unexpected growth of the Chiefs offense. The true threat and ability of Hill to work underneath combined with the constant threat of Hill’s speed to get over the top of coverage has helped open lanes and opportunities for guys like fellow wide receiver Demarcus Robinson as well as allowing tight end Travis Kelce continue to be a threat in the offense.
