We take the last real review of the Eagles at Chiefs game before we move on to the game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Kansas City Chiefs struggled throughout the first half offensively. Reid couldn’t help get Hunt or Hill going on the ground or through the air. Alex Smith just missed a throw that he hit against the Patriots. He overthrew him by less than a foot and would have changed the complexion of the game early in the first half. Smith also took a couple of big shots at the end of the first half and looked a little gun shy.

Defensively the Chiefs looked to do a lot of the same kind of thing they did against the Patriots in the first half. They dropped eight a lot in the first half and let the Eagles move the ball. In the second half you saw Sutton get a little more creative with attacking Wentz. He started moving Houston and Ford to the same side and then rotating the side that each played on. It disrupted them enough to keep the offense guessing.

It was announced on Monday night that Mitch Morse was diagnosed with a foot sprain. He went for an MRI and a CT scan and both came back negative, which means there isn’t a break. Kansas City is in a very good situation with Zach Fulton coming in at center. He isn’t as mobile as Morse but he is better at center than he is at any other position on the line. Over the next three weeks you don’t go against a great defensive line, so they should be in great shape.
