How the West Was Won: An interview with ChiefsLA

How many ChiefsLA members would you say have lived in or around the heart of Chiefs Kingdom?

Hard to say really, but feels like it is about a 50-50 split. Seems like some that move to California end up moving back to K.C., but area Chiefs fans are here for life. There is always a new pool of Chiefs fans who have made it out to the West Coast and we welcome them with open arms!

Will ChiefsLA convene on Friday night for the Chiefs’ first preseason contest?

There will be a few fans at the bar, and we’ll have the sound, but it won’t be our usual regular season experience with the prizes and music. Still, it’ll be a good place to catch the game and run into a few other Chiefs friends.

Can you give us a prediction of how you think the Chiefs will fare in 2017?

Ahhhh, you would sneak that one in on us, huh? Nope, we don’t do predictions. Last time we did our team ended up 2-14. We have one of the most difficult schedules among all teams this season, so there are going to be some exciting games. Will they beat the multi-touchdown deficit we rallied from in the home opener against the Chargers last year? Or the overtime, off the upright, win at Mile High? Only time will tell, but regardless, we will be ready with our Boulevard beer, BBQ sauce, and a sea of red at the biggest “Home of the Chiefs” venue on the west coast.
