NFL Combine: Nathan Peterman talks about Kirk Cousins comparisons

Peterman’s NFL.com draft profile earns him comparisons to Derek Carr, while Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller says he’s the sort of Dak Prescott-like draft sleeper. But the comparison he hears the most is Kirk Cousins.
“I try not to compare myself, really. I guess height-wise, there’s similarities … I certainly respect him and admire what he’s done, especially the last few years, and everything he stands for off the field. It’s a great comparison.”
According to Terez Paylor of the Kansas City Star, Peterman had a formal interview with the Chiefs, so he’s clearly on John Dorsey’s radar. Given his current draft stock, if Dorsey likes him enough, the Chiefs general manager will certainly have the opportunity from the bottom of the first round all the way through the third round, depending on how far he falls.
