2. Week 14: Oakland Raiders at Kansas City

Barring the Raiders and Chiefs live up to the billing, this one should be fun in the middle of a playoff race. Looking at this game in July, who knows what might be at stake. It could be the division crown, a wild card spot, or maybe just some good ole bragging rights (hopefully we have passed the point where the Chiefs are playing solely for pride at the end of the year).

Old school, division rivals going at it on national TV. Doesn’t get any better. It be nice to give Sean Smith a warm welcome home around the holiday season.

1. Week 16: Denver Broncos at Kansas City

Hopefully you all smiled like I did when you first came across this game. With Christmas Day falling on a Sunday this year, the majority of the games will be played the day prior on Christmas Eve. The Chiefs were one of the lucky few to earn the chance to play in front of a national audience on Christmas, only one of two games to be played on Christmas Day.

KC will have the nightcap at Arrowhead with the Denver Broncos. Everything makes this game great. The venue. The opponent. The potential stakes. But most importantly, the very special time of year. Keep your fingers crossed for a VERY Merry Christmas in 2016.
