More from Arrowhead Addict

Miami Dolphins:  The Dolphins have released Pro Bowl punter Brandon Fields.  The move is partially financial in nature as the Dolphins are in a very tough cap situation.  They have replaced him with an Undrafted Free Agent, Matt Darr.

New England Patriots:  The Patriots have traded a conditional draft pick to the Saints for wide receiver Jalen Saunders.  The move was made to help fill the gaps at receiver for the Pats who have Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola, and Brandon LaFell all on the PUP list at this time.

New Orleans Saints:  The Saints have suffered another loss in their passing game, placing wide receiver Nick Toon on Injured Reserve.  Their defense also took a hit as Keenan Lewis will miss four to six weeks after having hip surgery.

New York Giants:  The Giants have signed safety Stevie Brown.  The move was anticipated, and should help the Giants deep secondary.

Oakland Raiders:  The Raiders have lost their starting right tackle, Menelik Watson to a ruptured Achilles tendon.  The Raiders depth is questionable on their offensive line, so this is a huge blow to their team.  The Raiders have also released running back Trent Richardson.  The Raiders did make one addition, signing linebacker Lorenzo Alexander.

Pittsburgh Steelers:  The Steelers kicking game has hit another setback as replacement kicker Garrett Hartley suffered a hamstring injury.  The Steelers have ended his season by placing him on Injured Reserve.  They will now have to go back out on the hunt for a kicker.

Seattle Seahawks:  The Seahawks are expected to sign veteran running back Fred Jackson who was recently released by the Bills.  Jackson and Seattle starting running back Marshawn Lynch are very close friends.  On another front, the Kam Chancellor holdout is approaching what will be the point of no return as the season looms.  Chancellor wants a new contract, but the Seahawks do not appear inclined to cave.
