Week 10: Denver Broncos

Will this be a contest for AFC West supremacy or between two teams with one only battling for a wild-card spot? The Broncos have been great the past couple of seasons when we get into the later months (until the playoffs, then Manning goes full-on Manning and blows it immediately), but can they do it again?

The Chiefs, on the other hand, have had all sorts of problems closing out seasons under Andy Reid. Kansas City began 2013 with a 9-0 mark in 2013 before limping to an 11-5 finish. In 2014, the Chiefs got out to a 7-3 start before absolutely falling apart, losing three straight contests and narrowly missing the playoffs at 9-7.

Let’s be honest. Much of this season is going to be determined by how well Kansas City can play within the division. Last year’s record of 3-3 is not good enough for a team that has designs on going to the AFC playoffs and perhaps even a Super Bowl. Beating the Broncos has been a major hurdle that must be cleared.
