6. Pittsburgh Has Had A Crazy Season Too

We all know how infuriatingly nonsensical this season has been for the Chiefs; Steelers fans are in a similar boat.

While Pittsburgh fans have been able to cheer their team on to a 9-5 record, their season can be hard to explain.

Steeler wins include other playoff contenders in the Colts, Ravens and Bengals (and all by at least 17 points). On the other hand, the Steelers lost five games against teams with a combined record of 27 – 43. Of those five games, the only team with a winning record was the Ravens at 9-5. Two of the other losses included the Jets and Buccaneers, who are 3-11 and 2-12, respectively.

Like the Chiefs, the Steelers have not played consistently throughout the year. From week to week, you may see a team that looks like it could make a serious postseason run or a team that appears to be serious about improving their draft position.
