1. Go 4-0 Against The Bad Teams

The Chiefs have four games on their remaining schedule that are against teams that have won only one game or less. Those games are:

Week 8 vs St. Louis Rams (1-3)

Week 9 vs New York Jets (1-5)

Week 12 at Oakland Raiders (0-5)

Week 15 vs Oakland Raiders (0-5)

As you can see, these four games consist of facing three teams that currently have a combined record of 2-13. If the records of these teams was not enough, the fact that three of the four games are at home in front of the loudest fans in the NFL should only help matters. Plus, in the Andy Reid/Bob Sutton era the Chiefs have done a good job of harassing and defeating the lesser quarterbacks that they have faced. While they all have had moments of success, Austin Davis, Geno Smith, and Derek Carr are not exactly the most intimidating group of QBs on the planet.

While the Raiders proved on Sunday against the Chargers that they can’t be taken for granted, they still are at the bottom of the league in terms of record. As is always said, any team can beat any other team on any given Sunday in the NFL. However, if you are a 2-3 team that is trying to make the playoffs you simply can’t afford to drop games against the bottom quarter of the league. So if the Chiefs want to contend for the playoffs they have to sweep these four games. Even just one loss would make the margin of error in the rest of KC’s games too small to be counted on.

If you add the four wins against these teams to the two that the Chiefs already have it brings KC’s total to six, which brings us to number two on the list……
