3. The Offensive Line Is Improving

October 5, 2014; Santa Clara, CA, USA; San Francisco 49ers defensive end Ray McDonald (91) rushes against Kansas City Chiefs guard Zach Fulton (73) and tackle Ryan Harris (68) during the first quarter at Levi

I don’t know what caused the U-turn, but throughout the past two weeks, the offensive has performed like…an offensive line—a professional one. The most promising sign is Eric Fisher’s improvement.

The only Week 5 blemish was Ryan Harris’ false start on 4th-and-1, which forced Kansas City’s hand and demanded a punt.

That being said, the unit looks infinitely more cohesive than it did just weeks ago.
