WIDE RECEIVERS

Donnie Avery

A.J. Jenkins

Junior Hemingway

Albert Wilson

Frankie Hammond

Reserve-Suspended List: Dwayne Bowe

Injured Reserve: Kyle Williams

The suspension of Dwayne Bowe and the placement of Kyle Williams on IR allowed the Chiefs to keep many of the wide receiver prospects heading into week one. It will be interesting to see what move the Chiefs make after the Tennessee game to activate Bowe.

Mark Harrison was the biggest name cut by the Chiefs and it is thought that he will be offered a practice squad potion if he clears waivers. Harrison had a very good game and flashed some things in his limited time on the field in the preseason. His size and speed are very appealing if he can get his mind around Andy Reid’s offense.

A.J. Jenkins and Junior Hemingway are still both listed with injuries. One wonders if there is a chance either one of them ends up on the IR at some point in the next two weeks. Hemingway probably has the best shot of clearing waivers if the team had to release one of them.
