Michael Sam
DE/OLB, Missouri

After a rough combine, Sam looked much better at his pro day in Columbia. He shaved his 40 time down to a more acceptable 4.7 and looked more fluid in drills. Sam was the co-SEC defensive player of the year and was a fearsome pass rusher for the Tigers.

A move to OLB is probably in his future, and Sam projects to be more of a ‘designated pass rusher’ than an every down player. However, Kansas City needs as much pass rushing depth as they can get.

NFL.com:

"Good arm length. Anticipates the snap and has a very good initial first step. Plays hard — gives great effort and competes every down. Good on-field intensity and demeanor. Attacks the edges aggressively and motor runs hot. Outstanding weight-room strength — can squat a small house. Very durable."
