According to a report from NFL.com, the Kansas City Chiefs will meet with former Miami Dolphins head coach Tony Sparano about being their offensive line coach.

Sparano spent last season as the offensive coordinator for the New York Jets.

Sparano played center for the University of New Haven and graduated in 1982. He began coaching the offensive line at his alma mater a couple of years later. He then jumped to Boston University, serving as offensive line coach and offensive coordinator before returning to New Haven as the head coach in 1994. In 1999 Sparano jumped to the NFL as the offensive quality control coach for the Cleveland Browns. From there his career was launched and he sent stints with the Washington Redskins, Jacksonville Jaguars and Dallas Cowboys before being hired by the Dolphins. He has served as an offensive line coach, Tight ends coach, assistant head coach and offensive coordinator.

Sparano is perhaps best known for his “wildcat” offense.

I would be totally fine with this hire. Sparano may have had mixed reviews as a head coach/offensive coordinator but offensive line is the area where he has the most experience and may be where he is best suited to coach.
