We always take any opportunity to take a friendly shot at a division rival here at Arrowhead Addict. These shots are especially important when the team isn’t playing all that well because we need something to entertain us.

Thus, as you are enjoying the first win of the season, also enjoy this video of Denver RB Knowshon Moreno falling off a stationary bike. Moreno has only ten attempts this season for 26 yards, which makes him about as effective as Thomas Jones.

Bet that would have never happened to Tim Tebow.

It is well known in league circles that McDaniels drafted using the scouting function on Madden.

According to Woody Paige of the Denver Post, former Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels almost immediately regretted drafting RB Knowshon Moreno.

According to Paige, McDaniels and his staff quickly decided Moreno was a bust:

What I do know — from someone who worked closely with Josh and is someone I trust to tell me the truth — is that after the draft, McDaniels and the staff believed privately they made a big mistake on Moreno. He was not what they thought. He hasn’t been tough, smart, motivated, if that’s what you’re asking. He has been a bust. I’ve said it before. He’s not a great clubhouse guy. Interpret that how you want, and he’s been a wimp on the field.

From www.denverpost.com (share this quote)

Kind of hilarious. Looks like Moreno is just one in a long line of stupid personnel decisions made by McDaniels. Then again, since McDaniels was usually wrong about everything, perhaps his belief that Moreno is a bust means he is actually a hall of famer in the making. But still, McDaniels drafted him in the first place so going by the logic that McDaniels is always wrong, if he drafted him thinking he was good then he is probably not…but then again, if McDaniels later believed…

I’ve gone cross-eyed.

The point is, Moreno sucks. And so does McDaniels.

Go Chiefs!

By now, you’ve heard the news about Larry Johnson. You’ve heard that he can’t sip bubbly any more. You’ve heard that he can’t go to Blonde or any other bar or club after 9 PM. You’ve heard that he plans to report when the Chiefs kick off their voluntary workouts come Monday. You’ve heard that the Chiefs are filling a breach-of-contract grievance with the NFL to try to free themselves of the $3.75 million they owe wannabe Scarface Andre Rison Jr.

What you haven’t read is this: Larry Johnson will not be wearing red on Sundays this fall…in Kansas City, anyway.

Say goodbye to the bad guy? No. Say goodbye to the Larry in red.

He might don red as Tiger Wood’s caddy. He might sport the red jersey of the Bucs, Cardinals, Falcons, Niners, Texans or Giants. But he will never rock his red No. 27 Chiefs jersey again. Well, not on Sunday for pay. If he wants to wear it with a pink watch, a trucker hat and camo pants to the club on his own time, hey, that’s his business.
