The Kansas City Chiefs are at the Senior Bowl this week, scouting players and possibly interviewing coaching candidates.

While we are unlikely to find out what potential coaches the Chiefs will talk to, which players the team chats with will leak out.

One player the Chiefs were seen talking to this week is Cincinnati RB Isaiah Pead. Pead is getting some pretty good reviews so far down at the Senior Bowl for both his running and his ability to field punts.

Pead is similar in stature to Jamaal Charles at 5-10, 193. He rushed for 1029 yards last season and averaged 6.6 yards per carry. He is a big play threat that could serve as a nice compliment to Charles. There seems to be a belief among fans that the Chiefs will want to add a bigger, more durable back to their backfield in 2012, but should the team retain Jackie Battle, going for a guy like Pead could work as well.

NFL Draft Scout currently ranks Pead as the eighth best RB in the draft and they expect him to go in the third round.
