well, allen has freakish production in his division, and it was a bit of value pick as well as a risky pick. he is "raw" and may fill in nice when tony is out of the picture. the only thing i can think of is if they planned on keeping wilson at fb, which doesn't even make sence cause i heard boomer was moving there, but still, what an odd day. i liked the smith and taylor picks and thats about it. i liked coe for kc a bit more that i origionally thought, and he was available for quite a while. i'm sure herm knows what he's doing, but i heard him say he was trying to move in on a fourth for a corner(packaging 2 fiths, or trading green), and they didn't get one the entire draft. instead we get a questionable kicker with the same problems as the one we already have. a little nuts. whatever, at least the D-like will kick serious balls after week 4.

I think Carl knows he can sign an undrafted FA like Anthony Arline or a Travarous Bain, guys who I would have been fine with us taking in round five. There were so many corners this year, and they started going late with Revis, that there will be some good ones that go undrafted.

I'll explain the Allan pick in my draft report card, or whatever I decide to call it.

Bogus round seven pick. I still think Wilson could be a good TE. Still cb's on the board. Reggie Lewis could have been an alright addition, learning from Law and Sertain in his first couple of years. Strange day 2 picks.

At least Taylor sorta fills a need, although he's a bit smallish.

OT Mike Otto has some potential if he adds a little muscle and might be alright. As for CB, Calvin Bannister is small, but can cover well and can return kicks.
