Welcome to Arrowhead Addict’s Chiefs Bars Page!

We know that the Chiefs Kingdom extends well beyond Kansas City and in an effort to connect Chiefs fans all over the country, we have begun a project to compile a list of Kansas City Chiefs bars.

Each week during the season we ask our readers where they watch the games. We are posting the locations here so that hopefully, wherever you are, you’ll be able to find some Chiefs fans to watch the games with.

Remember, any bar can be a Chiefs bar. If you can your friends go to the same place every week, every season rocking your red and gold, then you are serving as a base. All you need to do is let us know, we’ll post it here and others will be able to find you.

The below information and the quotes that go with them were submitted by Arrowhead Addict readers. We thank them! Also, if you go to one of these bars and find that it is no longer Chiefs-friendly, let us know so we can remove it from the list.

We also love to hear from bar owners looking to draw Chiefs fans to their establishment!

If you have a place you gather with other fans that is not on the list, email me at [email protected]

Enjoy and GO CHIEFS!

Louies Sports Bar

The owner & his wife are from KC and always play the chiefs games in HD on the biggest screen behind the bar. A good turn out of KC CHIEFS fans come to watch, but Dallas Cowboys fans are trying to take it over. We need CHIEFS FANS to continue coming to prevent this from happening.

Pub Rock

I have a bar in AZ that is a REAL KC Chiefs bar. I have been in AZ for 15 years and have yet to find a bar that will show the games on anything but the smallest TV in the bar, and you will NEVER get sound.

Well I solved that problem and recently bought my own bar.  :)    It’s a music venue a night but starting this SUNDAY we are officially a KC Chiefs bar for fans in Arizona.

Here is the information:8005 E. Roosevelt Scottsdale, AZ  85257 tel:480-945-4985

here is our info,

Buffalo Wild Wings

If you’re in the Corona/Riverside CA area go to the Buffalo Wild Wings in Corona at The Crossings Shopping Center off the 15 fwy. There’s a few of us there and would like to see some more.

Santa Barbara:

5114 Hollister Ave, Goleta, CA 93111 (ten minutes from downtown Santa Barbara).

It’s not exclusively Chiefs, but Pat at the bar is from KC. KC memorabilia decorates the place and you’re guaranteed to have audio on the game as well.

San Diego:

Kansas City BBQ

In San Diego you can watch all the Chiefs games at Kansas City BBQ. It is longtime owned by KU alumni from Kansas City. They only allow Chiefs games to be shown (not Chargers, unless that’s who they are playing) and have a room in the back for all Chiefs fans to get together.

Mission Beach:

I live in San Diego and there is a great bar in Mission Beach called Boardwalk. It’s a KU Jayhawks bar, but they also have a good following of Chiefs fans, too. The food and drinks menu is really good! Plus it’s steps from the beach!

I recently (2 years, wow not very recent anymore!) moved back to KC from Los Angeles. Me and a couple other buddies used to watch the Chiefs in Burbank, on the other side of Hollywood at a bar called Champs. It was a Steelers bar but started having a pretty decent Red and Gold turnout each week.

Studio City:

The Rec Room (Formerly known as The Draft Bar and Grill)

We are a die hard bunch of Chiefs fans here in Los Angeles.  How die hard? We’ve been to Oakland twice in full gear and lived to tell about it. want you to come celebrate this glorious time with scores of other crazy, passionate, amazing, fun-loving, BBQ obsessed, beer guzzling Southern California Chiefs fanatics. Come join us every Chiefs game day at The Rec Room in Studio City. We have audio for all the games, great drink specials plus they give anyone in Chiefs gear 10% on all food! They’ll be lots of drinking, plenty of parking and a beautifully electrified sea of red and yellow. Great mix of guys and gals.

Here’s a link to our Facebook page:

Woodland Hills:

Myself and my buddy Leo are both long time and often suffering Chiefs fans and are going to Soups on Ventura Blvd in Woodland Hills, CA (a little north of LA) to cheer the Chiefs on! We would really like to get the KC fans in the north LA area together with us! Thanks -Dave

I lived in Denver for a short period, and I would watch all the games at Choppers ( Huge TVs there and pretty good food. It is the Watch Party site for KU, and there is quite a few Jayhawk things on the walls.

Don’s Mixed Drinks

I didn’t see this place on your list (and don’t know how old your list is), but Don’s Mixed Drinks, 723 East 6th Avenue, Denver, CO is a great place to catch games.  Potluck usually every game.  Encourage fans to come watch a game and break bread with other fans.  We’ve become a family over the past several years.  GM of the bar is from Topeka.  GO CHIEFS!

Crested Butte:

The Last Steep

Owned by two Kansas Citians. Chefs stuff on the walls.

Colorado Springs:

Kelly O’Brians Sports Bar

239 North Academy Boulevard Colorado Springs, CO 80909-6603 - (719) 573-1976

Is actually a Dolphins bar but Chiefs come in second in terms of participation. Only bar in town with more than a dozen Chief fans on Sunday (and draft day). I went there every week until I got the Sunday Ticket. -Damon

New London:

Stash’s Cafe

In southeastern Connecticut, Stash’s Cafe in New London, CT is the place to catch games. Good wings, cold beer, lots of tvs, good eye-candy. This area is home to the oldest US Navy Submarine base so you get a few wearers of the red and gold in there from time to time who are away from home serving our country. The owner is very good about getting you a spot to watch the game, unlike a lot of other Sunday Ticket bars around here who really don’t care.

Clyde’s Alley Bar

I frequently watch in DC at Clyde’s Alley Bar. The bartenders are my friends and I can always get the game where I want it. Usually run into a couple of other fans.

Linkster’s Tap Room

I live in Brandon Florida, outside of Tampa and go to Linkster’s Tap Room just east of the Brandon Mall. The Owner is from Kansas City. He puts out a nice spread of free food on Sundays including KC Bar-B-Q sauce. I have been watching the Chiefs there for 5 years with my best friend. We are there every Sunday and usually there are about 6-12 of us Chiefs fans there when the Chiefs are not on local TV but there was even a good bunch of us for the Colts playoff game last year.  Go Chiefs!

Fort Myers:

Leapin’ Lizards Bar and Grille

Moved to Fort Myers, FL 2 years ago. We’re about 50-60 members strong and have our own room at Leapin’ Lizards Bar and Grille in Cape Coral. Food specials, 4 HD tvs with piped in audio and FREE SHOTS when the Chiefs score!!

If anybody is in the area check us out. GO CHIEFS!

Millers Ale House

I’m down in Orlando, FL. Don’t know of any Chiefs bar, but i usually catch a few games at Millers ale house on International drive, got a couple Chiefs buddies there, they play every game on sundays. If anyone else is down this way, let me know, Go Chiefs!!

(International Mall)

2223 N. Westshore
Tampa, FL 33607

It’s not an official Chiefs bar, but a few of us Chiefs fans in the Tampa, FL . meet there. We have a local Meet-Up group for those in Tampa who are interested in hooking up with us area Chiefs fans.

West Palm Beach:

The Sandbar

We, in Royal Palm Beach go to The Sandbar. Just a few fans, but the owner is from Independence and lets us have the Party Room. It’s a private room to get loud and yell obscenities.

Scoreboards Sports Lounge

2997 Cumberland Boulevard Suite 100

Smyrna GA 30339

Idaho Falls:

The Frosty Gator

The Frosty Gator in Idaho Falls, ID. Born and raised in Kansas, Chiefs, Royals, KU fan for life. I am the manager there and trying my best to convert everyone here in eastern Idaho.

I currently live in Chicago. Best place in the Chi to catch the Chiefs is at Toons ( Always a lot of red there. I’m a season ticket holder so I only watch the away games

The Other Place

The Other Place in Clive is by far the best Chiefs Bar in the Des Moines area. It is a Sports restaurant bar with great foot and two projector screens along with over a dozen flat screens. It’s owned by a former Chiefs player and they feature the Chiefs every Sunday
Buffalo Wild Wings is a first come first serve bar with games. Majority rules.
Go Chiefs!

Des Moines:

Buffalo Wild Wings

Wellman’s Pub

A GREAT bar in Iowa, will be “Wellman’s Pub” in West Des Moines. A beautiful fun bar with a TON of flat screens and GREAT food. Even had a few beers with some retired Chief’s players there!

The Odin Store

Thought we would add our bar to your list of great places to watch our Kansas City Chiefs!! Our bar, The Odin Store, is located in central Kansas in a small town of approximately 120 people.  We have 5 T V, 2 of which are large plasma, a loyal following of patrons who move the chains each week after 1st downs, and often serve free snacks during the game for the customers to enjoy with their adults beverages.  We promote the Chiefs and their games with many activities and always try to make the day enjoyable. The Arrowhead Addict is one of the first e-mails we look forward to check each morning. If you are every in central Kansas please call or stop by to enjoy a great time at The Odin Store in Odin, Kansas!!!!

Grand Rapids:

Uccellos Sports Bar

Here in Grand Rapids, MI the best place I have found to go is Uccellos Sports Bar, they broadcast all the games on HD projectors, and so they always have the Chiefs up and playing. I don’t believe there are many Chiefs fans in the area, but if any need a spot to watch the game, I am there every Sunday.

Shakespeare’s Pub

Not only do they have 44 different beers on tap at a $3/pint deal during game time, but they’ve always got the Chiefs game on in a pretty good spot. It’s not a Chiefs bar per se, but I’m there every game.

Buffalo Wild Wings

St. Louis:

Weber’s Bar and Grill

Chiefs Fans in STL is the Largest Chiefs meet up in the St. Louis area. With a regular attendance averaging between 20-50 people for the past two years we are expecting to grow that number even more as we enter our 3rd official year as a group. In Chiefs Fans in STL, we tailgate (opening week, night games, and special occasions), get the sound for every game!, and get food and drink specials just for being Chiefs Fans (wear your RED and GOLD). Wolf’s 1-11

We gather at Maggie’s Sports Bar on Western Ave. in Albany and at Wolf’s 1-11 on Wolf Road in Albany.

New York City:

The Village Pour House

Without a doubt, the biggest Chiefs bar in NYC.

Greenpoint, Broolyn:

The Red Star

I’ve been to the Pour House with Paddy. There were a surprising amount of Chiefs fans in there. Nice to see.

If any of you Brooklyners out there refuse to go into Manhattan (I know there are plenty of you) I’ve been cultivating a small presence at The Red Star in Greenpoint for a few years now. It is by no means a Chiefs bar, but we get respect in there. I can’t imagine there are more Chiefs fans at any other bar in Brooklyn.

Long Island City, Queens:

John Brown Smokehouse

We watch every game at John Brown Smokehouse in Long Island City.

Rudino’s Sports Deck

Cornerstone Village

1937 High House Road
Cary, NC 27513

This bar rocks for the Chiefs, go there anytime I am in the Raleigh area even if there isn’t a game. A good crowd and cold beer. Oh they claim it is their own “Little Arrowhead” and it gets about as loud too!

Village Tavern

I watch the games at the Village Tavern in Cincinnati. It’s definitely a Bengals bar, but it is very “open” to Chiefs fans.

Harpo’s Sport’s Bar

Fat Daddy’s

8056 South Memorial Drive Tulsa, OK 74133
The owner is from Kansas City, and Sundays are all red in the joint.  It’s a cool little bar in the corner of a strip mall. Sundays there are about 10-30 fans (most Chiefs).  Chiefs games have game sound, but the bar also has other televisions with NFL sunday ticket.  Also has free wifi for checking your fantasy stats! -Anthony

A & L Sports bar

Cool place to watch on Sunday’s, a good cheap all you can eat breakfast and lots of micro beers on tap. Range from 5-20 Chief fans.

5933 NE Glisan St, Portland

D’s Bar

(Neon sign out front says Driftwood Tavern)

6732 NE Sandy Blvd

Portland, OR 97213-5252

(503) 281-1276

I have been trying to tell any Chiefs fans I come across about D’s Bar because it is actually our very own Chiefs bar.  They have drink specials for the Chiefs and a different breakfast special (early games start at 10AM out here) every week for the game.  The Chiefs get full priority over everyone and we get to listen to the games with sound.  This year the atmosphere has been unbelievable.  Dennis, aka D, is from Iowa so he and his family are Chiefs fans.

Big Charlie’s Saloon

Quite possibly the biggest Chiefs bar outside of KC.

(503) 234-7607

South Dakota

212, The Boiling Point

328 S Splitrock Blvd, Brandon, SD 57005, (605-582-3531)

There is a group of 15-20 of us who love and support our Chiefs. Hope to see a Sea of Red instead of purple this year.

South Carolina

The Wild Hare Sports Cafe -(Vista Location)

Longshots Sports Grille

If you’re in that area, it’s a great place to go watch the Chiefs. They have raffles during halftime giving out gift certificates and Chiefs gear. Very cool place with great food.

Third Base in Roudrock
We have a chiefs watch party in the Austin area- Round Rock, TX. It is at Third Base- Round Rock.

Big Shots Sports Cafe

My name is Aaron and I manage a sports bar in Bedford, Texas. We are located directly between Fort Worth and Dallas. We are an 8600 sq ft bar with over 40 flat screens. We have been concentrating on promoting Chiefs games since last year and we are up to 40+ ppl a week now.

Corpus Christi:

Paradise Billiards

Only a couple of regular Chiefs fans. If you get there early just ask John the barkeep and a good natured Broncos fan the barkeep to put the TV over the right side of the bar on the Chiefs (if it isn’t already). A crazy former employee (and VERY vocal and somewhat salty Chiefs fan) of theirs named Steve used to have a regular seat in front of that one, but he has since returned to the Chiefs Kingdom. The place also has Wi-Fi and a lot of fantasy dudes bring their laptops. And theirs tons of pool tables too, if you’re into that. I enjoyed the Paradise burger or the chicken sandwich, and a Guinness for every touchdown the Chiefs made. (This was in 2008 and 2009 so people not in the know thought I was in AA.) They used to allow smoking but were wrestling with local enforcement on some pending/existing laws.

Dallas-Fort Worth:

Wizards Sports Cafe in Richardson

Dallas-Fort Worth area Chiefs fans, come join the Chiefs Fans of Dallas at Wizards Sports Cafe in Richardson! We tailgate in the parking lot and it’s about as fun a day you can get outside of Arrowhead Stadium!

747 South Central Expressway
Richardson, TX 75080-7410
(972) 235-0371

San Antonio:

Fatso’s Sports Garden

EXCELLENT sometimes rowdy atmosphere. This are a set of regulars and characters for EVERY team and plenty of space for all, but I’d get there NLT 11:10 on game day, it’s that popular. There is a very good Chiefs contingent at this joint – Ron, Dennis, Marcus, and the gang. Tons of lovely wait staff that are worked very hard during the games, so be patient, order with their workload in mind, and be generous. Recommended meal – Anything, but I regularly snagged the Trail Driver, a great burger. Another pull for me – they serve Guinness. Smokers (I used to be one) must go outside where there may be one TV. I wish I could teleport this joint every where I go.

Point After North

Has a crowd of Chiefs fans with hearts warm for that Arrowhead experience. Bar website.

Crystal City/Arlington:

Mackey’s Pub House

Mackey’s Pub House in Crystal City/Arlington gets 4-8 people but i’s a Vikings bar (maybe not so bad considering the Vikings may be looking to baseball season already. Mackey’s is also a big Mizzou watch party place so it works out well for the entire weekend.

Mackey’s Pub House
320 23rd St. South
Arlington, VA 22202

Falls Church:

Has the largest gatherings of Chiefs fans around the Beltway(15-20 max). Decent drink specials on Sundays. Not a Chiefs-only bar but by far the most Chiefs fans I’ve been around for a game in DC/VA.

Grevey’s Sports Bar
8130 Arlington Boulevard
Falls Church, VA 22042-1025

Virginia Beach:

Just George’s Sports Bar

-It has about 20 big screen TV’s and they show every game every week! There’s about 10 of us Chiefs fans there and we are by far the loudest, especially me. They call me ” over excited chiefs fans. It is connected to a huge seafood buffet called capt. georges ,were you can eat all the crab legs, prime rib and all the things you like for only 20$.mix that w/ two pitchers of beer and that makes for a great Sunday!!

-My son and I and sometimes my wife go to Just George’s to catch the Chiefs games also. We usually sit in a booth because my son and wife like the little TV in the booth, sometimes you can actually hear the sound from those things.

Stan’s Bar-B-Q

Just read your articles about Chiefs Bars and noticed Washington State doesn’t have any on the list. I like you am a life long Chiefs fan but have never lived in KC. Being up here in the PNW and surrounded by “12’s” it is lucky to have Stan’s BBQ in Issaquah, WA (across the water from Seattle). Scott Pioli once called Stan’s “Arrowhead West”. Check out the website and add it to the list.

Thank you and Go Chiefs
