On Sunday morning, May 28, Smith will join several singers, athletes, actors and more for an hour of photo opps and interviews before the race kicks off, running from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. E.T. and airing on ABC. The hour-long red carpet event will be hosted by Good Morning America’s Rob Marciano.

Other athletes joining Smith at the event include Amy Purdy, Drew Stanton, Mario Andretti, Madison Kocian and Ric Flair. Other celebrities who are also joining in range from musicians like Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx and country artist Clayton Anderson to actors Jake Gyllenhall, Johnathan Jackson and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

It’s unknown if Smith will stick around for the actual race, but it’d be a great opportunity to see one of the biggest races in the world when he’s already right there ready to watch it. If you’re interested in viewing, here is the information to know straight from the Indy Motor Speedway site.

"The 101st Indianapolis 500 is scheduled to start at 12:19 p.m. (ET) Sunday. The race will be televised live on ABC, with the pre-race show starting at 11 a.m. (ET).
