2017 NFL Draft, Round 1: Start time, live stream, TV info and more

Here’s all the information you need to watch or listen to the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft on Thursday night.

After months of mock drafts, workouts, personal visits, rumors and smokescreens, the 2017 NFL Draft is finally here. Myles Garrett should be the first name uttered by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell as he takes to the podium in Philadelphia for the festivities, but beyond that is anyone’s guess as to how the entire event will unfold. That level of drama is the reason we’re all watching.

On Thursday night, the first round will unfold with the first 32 picks. Rounds two and three take place on Friday night with the rest of the draft’s four rounds taking place on Saturday afternoon. The Cleveland Browns own the first overall pick as well as No. 12, at this point, and should provide the biggest stories on the night as they attempt to turn the corner from NFL doormat with an abundance of picks.

As for the Kansas City Chiefs, they have a single pick at this point at No. 27 overall, but it’s impossible to tell what general manager John Dorsey might decide to do. Last year, the Chiefs traded out of the first round entirely in a deal with the San Francisco 49ers to slide back 9 spots into the second round and pick up additional selections in the fourth and sixth rounds. This year, the Chiefs have a very deep roster and already have 10 picks at their disposal, so they might be more inclined to package some of those picks in the hopes of moving up in the draft.
