The Kansas City Chiefs had some difficult decisions to face in free agency but less than many teams. Here’s a look at their complete moves in free agency.

John Dorsey’s biggest decisions have already been made in free agency, a set of moves forced early by the looming franchise tag deadline that came by the start of the new league year. Since then, the Kansas City Chiefs general manager has certainly been busy but not nearly as much as some other colleagues with roster space to fill and vaults of available cash.

Here’s a full rundown of the Chiefs moves in free agency, in the order they were made:

Chiefs sign Laurent Duvernay-Tardif to an extension
The announcement that surprised everyone provided some continuity and commitment to the offensive line. Dorsey richly rewarded the hard work and continued development by one of his pet projects with the Chiefs: a former sixth round med school student from Montreal, Quebec. LDT has grown into an above average guard and the Chiefs think he’s capable of much more.
