The Kansas City Chiefs have been showing interest in all of the top quarterbacks in the 2017 draft class. None is more divisive than Patrick Mahomes.

Seth Keysor of ArrowheadPride.com joins us today to compare evaluations on Patrick Mahomes.

Scouting reports on the Texas Tech quarterback very greatly. While some evaluators see a gun-slinging 1st-round Brett Favre type risk-taker; others see a mechanically underdeveloped 3rd-round project. Mahomes is a physical prospect across the board. His arm talent alone is second to none and he has enough mobility to be dangerous leaving the pocket. Is that enough for the Kansas City Chiefs?

The question of footwork and delivery mechanics are of concern to some when considering Mahomes as a 1st-round talent. His vision downfield and the ability of throw with anticipation are present but still in need of development. These aspects of his game affect his draft grade and where he is selected.

Patrick Mahomes may very well slide down to where the Chiefs are able to select him. The real question is will the Chiefs take that gamble.
