The Chiefs and Broncos are the current favorites in Vegas to become Tony Romo’s new team.

The latest odds are in from Las Vegas, and Tony Romo’s future home is most likely to be in the AFC West, according to Bovada. The Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs are the two teams favored to land the former Dallas Cowboys starter.

What’s most interesting about the latest odds is that the Houston Texans have fallen below the others. The Texans, as an other in-state team, were largely considered the favorites to make a play for Romo, especially given their questions at the position and the amount of cap space available — even with Brock Osweiler’s deal on the books.

As for the Chiefs and Broncos, both teams are in the rare position of having Super Bowl hopes despite questions at the most important position in the NFL. Both defenses are playoff caliber with some nice offensive weapons for Romo to potentially work with. Both the Chiefs and Broncos were on a list of four teams that Romo reportedly wanted to play for as well.

It’s unknown at this point whether or not Romo will be released or traded, but what seems clear at this point is that he’s on the move. If that’s true, the Chiefs are likely to see a lot of Romo according to Vegas, either under center on their own roster or as the rival Broncos newest starter.
