The Kansas City Chiefs are now looking for Nick Foles to lead the charge against the Indianapolis Colts, with Alex Smith looking out on his feet.

Kansas City should beat the Colts on Sunday, but things just got much harder. On the first series of the game, Alex Smith scrambled to his right and decided to slide very late. He was also hit on a controversial shot, but there was no penalty. is head slammed against the hard turf at Lucas Oil Stadium, leaving him very wobbly as Spencer Ware helped him to his feet.

If Smith can’t get through the concussion protocol, he will be out for the rest fo the game. honestly, it would be surprising if he came back. Smith looked like he was out on his feet when he was helped up.

If Smith doesn’t come back, it will be the Nick Foles experience. Foles was cut but the Los Angeles Rams this offseason only to be signed by the man who originally drafted him in Andy Reid. Reid took Foles in the third round out of the University of Arizona, and there were some nice returns. Foles went to the Pro Bowl once before things soured.
