On this episode of the Roughing the Kicker Chiefs podcast, Joshua Brisco previews Sunday’s matchup in the Black Hole when the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Oakland Raiders.

Calling a week six game a “must-win” may be too strong, but it certainly is a crossroad game for the Chiefs. Currently a team with no particular identity, whatever Kansas City does in Oakland on Sunday is going to be what the team actually is.

There will be no excuses for whatever happens next. The Chiefs are about to show the world what they can accomplish this season.

With no particular identity, the Chiefs will (rightly) be identified by their production. They will stop being the potential offensive juggernaut coached by a genius and become the team that, for whatever reason, just couldn’t get it together.

Or, if the Chiefs turned around the offense over the bye week, we could be seeing the growth of a team poised to turn the last three quarters of the season into a surge to the playoffs.
