The Chiefs offense needs to be ready to go on Sunday against the Raiders.

Heading to Oakland on a bye against one of the worst defenses in the NFL right now is a big opportunity for the KC offense. Reid has to have one of his better games as a play caller for the Chiefs to have a great shot in Oakland. The Raiders offense should face one of their toughest tests to date on Sunday against the Chiefs.

KC’s defense should be able to minimize the Raiders rushing attack without Latavius Murray and that will help slow down Carr. Later today the Chiefs will be asked several questions about missing Pro Bowl OLB Justin Houston. The Kansas City defense could use the pass rush ability of Houston returning sooner rather than later. While it still is probably a long shot for him to be 100% this season if he is close I think he’ll be playing.

The Chiefs should be able to find a way to stay around .500 for the next couple weeks and Houston returning with the team at .500 is a great scenario for KC. The Chiefs defense needs to put up a good showing in Oakland and find a way to slow down the Raiders attack. If they can do that the Chiefs should be able to win in Oakland on Sunday.
