The Kansas City Chiefs are returning to practice on Wednesday, and there are some very notable names to keep an eye on.

Head coach Andy Reid talked to the media on Wednesday afternoon, and he gave some updates on all the injured players at One Arrowhead Drive. For starters, safety Eric Berry was mentioned as having some swelling in a knee, but he expected to practice. Considering it is only Wednesday, that has to bode well for his chances of playing on Sunday.

We won’t be seeing inside linebacker Sam Barrington, and guards Parker Ehinger and Jah Reid. Barrington has a lower-body injury while Ehinger has a concussion and Reid is dealing with a sprained ankle. On the plus side, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif will practice after dealing with a high-ankle sprain last week that kept him on the sideline.

Most importantly, running back Jamaal Charles will continue to work with the scout team but is getting much closer to playing. In fact, there seems to be a very real chance that he is on the field this Sunday to take on the New York Jets.

The official injury report will be out later in the day, but we won’t have actual designations until Friday. Keep it here for all the latest news and updates.
