Good morning, Addicts! It’s a Friday, which means it is time to party. You are about to get out of work for two days and that means freedom. On the football side of things, we are a week and a half away from the NFL Scouting Combine, which likely will have a half-dozen future Kansas City Chiefs.

Hopefully, we can learn some key things from the combine and get a glimpse into what the 2016 NFL Draft has to offer. Then again, what can you really learn from an offensive lineman running a 40-yard dash.

Here is the news you need to know…

Robert Griffin III to the Chiefs is not a crazy ideaAdam Teicher of ESPN

"The situation in Kansas City looks like it might be a good fit for Griffin. The Chiefs are one of the teams that puts a priority on having a high-quality backup quarterback. That’s why they gave a large contract for a backup three years ago when they signed Chase Daniel."

Be thankful that Kansas City was not involved in the Los Angeles situation Adam Teicher of ESPN

"The angst isn’t over for fans of the Chargers, who will play 2016 in San Diego but could still move to L.A. the following season, or the Raiders, who could eventually claim a spot as the second tenant in L.A. if the Chargers remain in San Diego. And what of those in St. Louis, where the local NFL team is gone with no prospect looming of a replacement any time soon?"

If I ran the Chiefs: A 3-step planSeth Keysor of Arrowhead Pride

"The defense, as constructed, is capable of playing with the best in the league. Now isn’t the time to get cute. Now is the time to keep players who have performed in the system if at all possible. Continuity matters on defense. Kind of a lot. The first step for Dorsey should be to ensure (as best he can) the defense doesn’t take a step back."
