Happy Thanksgiving Chiefs fans!

Kansas City is surging right now after coming off their fourth straight victory in dominating fashion over the San Diego Chargers. I went into this last match-up thinking it’s a divisional game on the road so chances were slim we’d blow them out. Well I was wrong just flat-out wrong on that and happy to be wrong.

The Chiefs are playing dominating football and their formula for their current success seems as though it will carry them into the post season based on the opponents remaining on the schedule.

Kansas City has found an unorthodox way of winning in this current football era. A formula that is not complex nor used by  many teams. The values of the formula are great defense plus mistake free offense = winning.

We hear it all the time now days, phrases like “this is a passing league” or “you must have a good quarterback to win a Super Bowl.” Yet, the Chiefs are trying to travel a different road to the Super Bowl, a road that teams like the Ravens and Seahawks have traveled to the big game. A kind of team where the offense takes a back seat to the defense.
