Talking Senior Bowl, Super Bowl, rookie wide receivers, and potential free agents for the Chiefs.

On this episode of Roughing the Kicker, Joshua Brisco and Ryan Landreth discuss Terez Paylor’s list of free agents who could help the Chiefs, look at the latest news surrounding Justin Houston, and talk to Brandon Kiley from KTGR in Columbia to discuss the Senior Bowl, Dorial Green-Beckham, and other wide receivers in the 2015 NFL draft.

As of today: Would you rather the Chiefs pay a WR in free agency, or draft one in the first round?

I’m starting to truly appreciate the madness of the NFL. The Chiefs haven’t taken a snap in over a month, but there is still plenty to talk about, which is great news if you have a Chiefs podcast.

Last week, a few commenters suggested that we spend some more time on the Senior Bowl and NFL draft, so we talked to Brandon Kiley from KTGR in Columbia, Mo. to talk about what he saw in the Senior Bowl and who he likes in this year’s crop of incoming receivers, focusing on Mizzou’s Dorial Green-Beckham. And don’t worry, as the draft gets closer, we’ll keep zooming in on who the Chiefs may target.

Ryan and I break down Terez Paylor’s column about seven free agents the Chiefs could target, and we discuss the merits of each potential signing. We also talk about the Chiefs newest player, the potential developments in Justin Houston’s contract, and take a look at the news from the rest of the AFC West – along with a discussion about Josh Gordon.

Finally, Ryan and I give our final predictions of the year as we debate the Super Bowl and break down the reasons we disagree on the game, and I express my love for Marshawn Lynch.
