Chiefs Mock Drafts, Broncos News, and a Look at Eric Fisher
If Jameis Winston or Marcus Mariota were available for the Chiefs at No. 18, would you take him, or is there a greater need to be addressed?

Along with early mock drafts and other coaching news, the NFL wants to remind us that it has no offseason.

The biggest news in the AFC West comes from Denver… again. The Broncos have a new head coach, and Peyton Manning appears to be poised to return to the team. However, I would argue that it’s not all bleak for the Chiefs.
“Eric Fisher is no Tyron Smith.” …Unless next year goes according to plan.
Ryan Landreth is not a fan of Eric Fisher. I think that he would still rather have Geno Smith, so I end up defending Fisher more often than he probably deserves. On today’s show, we take a look at the first three seasons of one of the league’s best offensive tackles and compare his start to Fisher’s. The similarities are startling.
We have to talk about this statistic: The Seahawks and Patriots went a combined 20-2 after being defeated by the Chiefs in Arrowhead. What does that mean? Does it matter at all?
Then, of course, we have to look at the most recent and high-profile mock drafts. We know it’s January, but every single one of the mocks we talk about today has given the Chiefs a wide receiver at 18, with one quarterback-focused exception.
