The Chiefs’ playoff hopes won’t be full determined by this game but falling to 2-4 almost spells complete doom. Win and there’s a really good chance could find a way to sneak into the playoffs. This is the first major season-changing game of the season.
Winning this afternoon is going to have to require the Chiefs taking advantage of their own offensive weapons. Travis Kelce and De’Anthony Thomas has to be used more this week to supplement the genius of Jamaal Charles. San Diego’s defense is beat up and hasn’t played this kind of a quality team since they upset the Seattle Seahawks at home over a month ago. This is an opportunity for the Chiefs speed to catch San Diego off guard.
