Kansas City Chiefs Practice Squad And Waivers Open Thread

Starting this afternoon the Kansas City Chiefs can start putting together their practice squads, claiming players on waivers, and signing free agents. We’ll keep you updated on those rumors and reports here until the Chiefs officially announce something.

Kansas City has already made two moves according to reports. The first major one is the Chiefs have claimed defensive lineman Damion Square from the Philadelphia Eagles. You can read up about that situation over here if you wish to find out a little more about Square. KC will have to make a 53-man roster move to in order to add him to the roster.

The second is the reported signing of linebacker Jerry Franklin to the practice squad. A former Bear, Franklin adds depth to the linebacker group that has been knocked around by injuries. He is also said to be good on special teams.
