And lo the preseason came to an end in the thawed tundra of Green Bay. And was good.

The preseason will be over tonight and we’ll finally be able to start panicking about football that actually matters as opposed to games that don’t count. In a few short days we’ll know the final 53-man roster, who is on the practice squad, and will have a scouting report of the Dexter McCluster lead Tennessee Titans as we prepare for the opening of the 2014 regular season.

Let us begin tonight by remembering bad things are going to happen tonight because of plays made by players who will probably never see a meaningful snap for the Kansas City Chiefs this season. Alex Smith will not start tonight and Jamaal Charles probably won’t take a handoff. We are going to see a lot of backups and backups to backups.

We talked about some things to watch for today so feel free to jump over there and take a look at some of those things.

Stacy has some predictions for who will make the final 53-man roster so be sure to look that over before kickoff.

And finally don’t forget you can watch or listen to the game online if you do not have immediate television access.

Game four of the preseason: Let’s do this.
