The Morning Fix: Chase Daniel, Kicker Competition, Simpsons/Family Guy Mashup

Many people need their coffee to get up and going in the morning.  Here at Arrowhead Addict, we understand that for a Kansas City Chiefs fan, coffee is simply not enough.

Here’s all that’s happening around Chiefs Kingdom today.

Welcome to The Morning Fix.

Good morning, Addicts.

Adam Teicher talks about the negatives from the first week of camp.

A feature from AL.com on Dee Ford and Nico Johnson.

"After Kansas City took Johnson in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL Draft, he was projected as a competitor with Akeem Jordan for the other starting inside linebacker spot beside Pro Bowler Derrick Johnson. Instead, Nico Johnson sprained an ankle in the third preseason game, and his regular-season action was limited to six games. He made seven tackles, all in the meaningless final game of the regular season for the playoff-bound Chiefs."

Aaron Murray’s brother “won” The Bachelorette.

"Murray was selected over Nick Viall, who also has an athletic background as captain of the track team at UW-Millwaukee, but that is apparently not enough to compete with Josh’s SEC pedigree."

Chase Daniel knows Aaron Murray and Tyler Bray are aiming for his job.

"Theoretically, this should benefit Daniel, who is engaged in a fierce battle for the Chiefs’ No. 2 quarterback job with Tyler Bray and Aaron Murray."

The kicking battle between Ryan Succop and Cairo Santos is starting to heat up.
