Sean Smith Arrested For Allegedly Driving Under The Influence
By Ben Nielsen
Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Sean Smith has been arrested for allegedly driving under the influence. The Chiefs have released a statement.
Smith signed a three-year, $16.5 million contract before the 2013 season to be come a Chief. He was part of the beginning wave to add more size to the Chiefs cornerbacks group. In his first season with the Chiefs he intercepted two passes and defended 9 more, finishing with +0.9 overall grade from PFF. Only Eric Berry had a higher overall PFF rating among Chiefs defensive backs with at least 300 snaps played.
Ron Parker took first-team snaps at cornerback for the Chiefs during OTAs in Smith’s place.
Now seems like a good time to remind you about the Chiefs players who have not done stupid things recently.
