Did week two of the season just get a little bit easier?
T.J. Ward, one of the prized free agent pick ups of the Denver Broncos this offseason, has been issued a warrant for his arrest after an incident at a night club on May 9. Here is the report from Denver’s CBS 4:
According to documents reviewed by CBS4, Ward is wanted in connection with an incident that took place earlier in May, which is categorized both as an assault and disturbing the peace.
Court records reveal little about what prompted the issuance of the arrest warrant. However, sources say the warrant was issued in connection with a scuffle inside a southeast Denver strip club.
There is a chance, depending on how this all plays out in the court system, Denver may lose Ward for a few games to start the season. Kansas City plays Denver in week two. It would nice to be able to play Denver without their $22 million man.
