The Chiefs opened up some room on the roster to add an undrafted free agent by cutting ties with fullback Eric Kettani. Terez A. Paylor has the details here.

Additionally, the Chiefs cut wide receiver Rashad Ross.

The two cuts give the Chiefs two extra roster spots to fill with underafted rookies. Coming into today the Chiefs had only nine spots available to add players after selecting six players in the draft this past weekend.

Some roster flexibility here would also allow the Chiefs to take a look at some other tryout players who are cut from other teams or other players who are released after June 1.
