Want to buy Alex Smith’s home in California? Well you can if you have a spare $2.95 million to spend.

The infallible TMZ is “reporting” Smith is having trouble selling his four bedroom, four bathroom home in Los Gatos and has slashed the price by $300,000 in an effort to unload the house.

From TMZ:

"Smith originally listed the 5,650 sq ft, Los Gatos home for $3.25 mil — after getting traded to the Chiefs last year … but now he’s settling on $2.95 mil in a last ditch effort to unload the place."

What’s missing from this quote is their great headline:

Alex Smith is struggling to sell his California home. Or, if you’re TMZ, HE’S GETTING SCREWED OVER AGAIN!!!

What a wonderful headline. Maybe Arrowhead Addict should switch to TMZ’s headline strategy? No? Okay.

Realtor.com has a post on Smith’s home, as well. While it lacks an amazing headline like TMZ, it does include a bunch of photos of Smith’s home.

"Located on a shaded hilltop roughly an hour ‘s drive from the Niners’ soon-to-be demolished former home, Candlestick Park, the house has four bedrooms, four baths and approximately 5,650 square feet of living space — of which the master suite accounts for a comfortable 1,200 square feet."

First, it’s good to be a NFL quarterback. Second, his master suite is larger than my home. Third, Smith must do a ton of laundry. Did you see how many washers and dryers that house had? Finally, does his master suite include a kitchen? If it doesn’t then his asking price is way too high.

Addicts, if you had the money, would you buy Smith’s home?
