The 2014 Super Bowl is over which means it is time to start betting on who will win the 2015 Super Bowl. If the early lines from Bovada are a good indication, the Chiefs should be right in the thick of things again in 2015.

Bovada has set the early odds of the Chiefs winning the Super Bowl at 28/1. Those odds tie them with the Indianapolis Colts for 12th in the NFL, and are higher than the Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions, and Baltimore Ravens among others.

Seattle is the early favorite for 2015 at 9/2, with San Francisco (15/2), Denver (17/2), New England (14/1), and Green Bay (16/1) rounding out the top five. When it comes to the rest of the AFC West teams, San Diego’s odds are set at 33/1 while Oakland’s are 75/1. Only Jacksonville’s 100/1 odds are worse than Oakland’s.

A lot can and will change over the next few months between free agency and the NFL draft, but it is interesting to see where the Chiefs stack up compared to the rest of the NFL. It should be noted the Chiefs odds to win the Super Bowl this year were 50-1 according to Bovada back in August. So without the Chiefs making a single change to their roster, Vegas seems to like the direction the Chiefs are going.
