Super Bowl XLVIII Virtual Party: Live Thread

Well Addicts, the Kansas City Chiefs aren’t in the big game yet again, but I would say the vast majority of us are football fans on top of being just Chiefs fans, so we’re watching anyways. I’m curious to see what side everyone is coming down on, so feel free to discuss. When we normally do these live game threads, it’s for the Chiefs games, and thus everyone is mainly on the same side. There might be some bickering back and forth between fans on the validity of Alex Smith as a quarterback and so on, but we’re all rooting for the Chiefs.

But today could be different. Some believe that rooting for the Denver Broncos is the way to go because a Super Bowl Champ in the division is a good thing. Others think that you should never root for the Broncos because it’s blasphemy as a Chiefs fan and therefore they are Seattle Seahawks fans for today.

Who ever you’re rooting for, we ask that you engage in friendly banter, but try to keep the family friendly atmosphere of our virtual Super Bowl part intact.

My prediction:

Denver 21

Or maybe that’s just my hope. Whatever.
