There are 79, 451 seats at New Arrowhead Stadium. Every home game, Chiefs faithful fill the stands to be part of the “home game” experience. They high-five with fellow fans when it goes right and console each other when it goes wrong. For the rest of us not in attendance, we do it virtually. Here. Welcome to the Kansas City Chiefs Live Game Thread.

Here it is, Addicts. The regular season finale for the Kansas City Chiefs. While this game means nothing for the Chiefs, it means everything for the Chargers and thus they’ll have their best foot forward. There are some things to be thankful for, though Addicts.

Every single one of us wished for meaningful football in December and January. Look at where this team was just one short year ago. Tomorrow the talk won’t be about the Chiefs head coach and general manager getting fired. It’ll be about who the Chiefs are playing in the first round of the playoffs and what preparations their current head coach and general manager are making.

This is about as meaningful as it gets, Addicts. Though I would like to see Reid play the starters and embarrass the Chargers in their home like they did to the Chiefs, playing a preseason game in Week 17 because you want your starters rested for the post season is about as good as it gets.

My prediction:

Chiefs 21

Chargers 35

But only because it’s the 2’s vs. the 1’s.

Talk to you in 20 minutes!
