Live Thread: Broncos vs. Patriots

facebooktwitterreddit

The Kansas City Chiefs lost their second straight game earlier this afternoon against the San Diego Chargers. They now stand at 9-2, which is one half a game behind the Denver Broncos who are 9-1 and heading into a hostile Foxboro Stadium tonight to face the New England Patriots.

This game has “turning point” written all over it not just for the Broncos but for the entire AFC. If the Broncos win, they are a full game ahead of the Chiefs in the AFC West as well as the AFC #1 Seed sitting for the playoffs in January. But don’t count on Peyton Manning and his merry men to walk away with this one.

Standing in the Broncos way is Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Yes, the Pats are 6-3 heading into tonight, but don’t let that fool you. Tom Brady is coming off of a huge upsetting loss on Monday Night Football against the Carolina Panthers which ended with the most controversial call of the season. So Manning isn’t just facing off against Brady for their 14th meeting; he’s facing off against “Angry” Tom. And trust me, you won’t like him when he’s angry.

At this point in Week 12, all Chiefs fans have turned into Patriots fans for the next three hours. We here at Arrowhead Addict are here to provide you with an outlet to talk about it.

Prediction:

New England Patriots: 38

Denver Broncos: 35

It’s gonna be a shoot out. Buckle up and…ahem…go Pats!
