Because we haven’t written about every single story line involving the meeting of the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs and the one-loss Denver Broncos in the two weeks since the Chiefs last played a game, here’s one more little tidbit. This is the weather report for the prime time showdown between these two teams on NBC’s Sunday Night Football.

According to The Weather Channel the temperature at kickoff tonight will be 41 degrees fahrenheit, but will feel like 36 degrees with the wind chill factor from the seven mile an hour wind. There is a zero percent chance of any kind of precipitation, which cancels out the “chance of snow” rumors that were swirling earlier this week.

As the game rolls on, the temperature will continue to drop settling in around 38 degrees by the end of the game with a wind chill factor of 33 degrees.

It’s no secret that Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning doesn’t like cold weather. Perhaps it stems from the fact he was spoiled all those years in Indianapolis, playing in a dome, but the stats show that he’s not as good in the cold weather.

Don’t they say that the cold affects your bones more when you hit your elderly years? Perhaps that’s the reason, Manning has trouble getting it done in the cold. He’s no spring chicken.
