Many people need their coffee to get up and going in the morning, and especially in the middle of the afternoon when things are starting to drag.  Here at Arrowhead Addict, we understand that for a Chiefs fan, coffee is simply not enough.

Here’s all that’s happening around Chiefs Kingdom today.

Welcome to The Fix.

It’s Friday in Chiefs Kingdom, and even though the Chiefs are on a bye this week, it should be Red Friday, wherever you are.

There’s a lot still going on around the Kingdom, and perhaps the biggest news is the newest Chief is about to arrive. Chiefs punter Dustin Colquitt is an expert at pinning opposing teams inside the 20 yard line on the field. It would also appear he is a master planner as well. He planned so well, in fact, that he and his wife are expecting their fifth child during the bye week. This from the Kansas City Star’s Kathleen Gier:

"“I just dialed up to the maker and said we need it on the bye week if possible,” Colquitt said. “…When the schedule came out, as a Christian man I thought, that could not have been better timing.”"

Check out the whole story here.

Over at the “Mother Ship” Reid Ferrin has posted a video post showing the best nine offensive plays of the first nine games. Navigate here to check it out and relive some of the best moments from the first nine games.

Finally, as a note here for Arrowhead Addict, even though this is the bye week and there will be no game, the content won’t stop. Make sure you check back often this weekend to keep up on all the bye week news. Also, there will be a San Diego Chargers vs. Denver Broncos Live Game Thread on Sunday so Addicts can discuss the game and hope the Chargers win to knock the Broncos back one game further.

We look forward to seeing you back all weekend, Addicts!
