You know you’ve got either 1) a great team 2) a great fanbase or 3) both, when fans are putting out music videos dedicated to the team. And that’s exactly what our friends over at H3 have done with “Tomahawk Chop”.
The Chiefs are undoubtedly great this year, they’re 7-0 looking to go 8-0 this Sunday against the Browns, and Kansas City fans are world renowned for being awesome.
So what happens when you put a bunch of Chiefs fans together in front of Arrowhead, give them a tailgate and a beat?
You get this music video:
“Do the Tomahawk Chop” is the name and chopping with your fellow Chiefs fans (or Addicts as we like to call them here at AA) is the game.
It’s simple, but it’s oh so catchy.
Let me transcribe a few lines for you.
“One time for the boy JC, Jamaal Charles.
One time for the boy JC, 25
Two times for the homie EB, Eric Berry
Two times for the homie EB, 29.”
It’s clearly following a pattern here and the beat will get you nodding your head a bit. We all have different tastes, so maybe it’s not your cup of tea, but I’m not one to come down on someone for wanting to give a shout out to their favorite players.
Let’s see if we can get “Two times for our homies AA, Arrowhead Addict” in the remix.
